Description

Human Kinetics is the largest publisher of sports-related books in the world. They have an in-house design department staffed with graphic designers, web designers and production people who develop all the books as well as the promotional materials for their books. At Human Kinetics, we will also have the opportunity to view their collection of Olympic posters (which could be the most complete collection of these posters in one location). These posters span the entire history of graphic design and offer an opportunity to review the range of graphic styles we have covered this semester.

Procedure

We will meet promptly at the time and location specified above. It is recommended that you arrive early at the specified location. Anticipate parking problems. Leave early. If you are late, you may not be allowed to join the tour.

Note taking is highly recommended. Material covered during field trips will be on the quiz scheduled this semester.
